In brief
Roof repairs after removal cover the agreed connections to the structure, insulation and covering. The complete repair area and existing roof build-up need assessment.

A repair suited to your roof
For a tiled roof, the work includes the connection to the surrounding roof and suitable replacement tiles. On a flat roof, the existing covering system determines the repair approach. Photographs from outside and from beneath the roof help establish its construction. The condition of the surrounding roof also matters.
More than closing the visible opening
A roof may consist of several layers. We agree which repairs to the substrate, insulation and finish are needed. The repair area must be considered as a whole, not just from outside. If opening the roof reveals timber damage or other defects, we first discuss the implications for the agreed scope.
Discuss materials and appearance beforehand
New tiles or materials may look different from an older roof. An exact colour match is not automatically promised. Let us know if you have matching spare tiles. Repairs to the attic interior, a larger roof area or existing leaks outside the work area are described separately.
Planning and price factors
Access, opening size, roof pitch, material availability and the substrate required determine the quotation. Scheduling takes account of when the roof can safely be opened and repaired. Send overview and detail photographs without climbing onto the roof yourself. Mention existing damp patches or previous repairs.
Frequently asked questions
Will the entire roof be replaced?
No. Local repairs after chimney removal are separate from a full roof renovation. If the surrounding covering proves unsuitable for a local repair, we discuss the next step.
Is insulation included in the quotation?
This is agreed for the particular roof construction. Check which layers, materials and connections are listed, and whether the internal finish is included.
