Information you provide

The quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, postcode, street, town, type of work and project description. You may add preferred timing, photographs and relevant documents. Do not upload identity documents, medical information or unnecessary personal details.

Photographs and drawings can contain information about your home or other people. Check the files before submitting them, remove unnecessary personal information and only share material you have the right to share.

Why information is used

Enquiry details are used to answer your question, contact you and prepare the quotation or potential work you requested. This relates to steps you request before a possible contract. Additional information may be needed to carry out an agreed project.

Form security processes limited technical information to restrict abuse. The server uses a secure session and hashed derivatives of IP addresses and email addresses. These measures support website security and form availability.

The enquiry includes the website and form page. If the browser provides it, we also include the preceding page within this website to help handle your request in context. This does not store advertising cookies, search terms, URL query parameters or fragments, and does not track you across other websites.

Address lookup and spam protection

To suggest a street and town, our server queries the public PDOK address service using the postcode you enter. Your house number or suffix, if provided, is matched on our server. Your name, email, phone number, project description and files are not sent to PDOK. Results may be cached for one day. You can always enter or correct the street and town yourself.

The form uses self-hosted ALTCHA proof-of-work together with server-side checks, a hidden bot field and limits on repeated attempts. The security calculation is verified by our server before the request is sent. This does not use advertising cookies or an external CAPTCHA cloud service.

Email, attachments and temporary storage

Once quote processing is enabled, the enquiry and attachments are submitted through the configured email service to the recipient handling the request. During processing, files are held outside the public website in a restricted temporary directory. The application removes them after the sending attempt. A bounded cleanup runs on subsequent form requests, at most once an hour, and removes orphaned uploads older than two hours. Without new requests, cleanup waits until the next use.

Enquiries and attachments also remain in the receiving mailbox. The existing retention period for enquiries that do not become a project is three months. Relevant project records are kept as needed for performance, administration and applicable legal obligations. The same cleanup removes security records older than 48 hours and cached address results older than one day.

Service providers and protection

Hosting and email providers process information for technical operation and delivery. Involving a specialist contractor is assessed against what is needed for your enquiry or project. Enquiry details are not published on the website or reused as a customer review.

The form code uses server validation, restricted access and an encrypted connection to the mail server. Passwords and secret keys remain outside the public website. The form does not report success if the mail server has not accepted the primary enquiry.

Cookies and measurement

The new website loads no advertising tags or external analytics scripts. A consent banner for such tracking is therefore not required. Once enabled, the form uses a functional session cookie for security. It is not used for advertising or tracking your activity on other websites.

In the private review version, the preview platform also controls owner access. This access protection belongs to the test environment. The hosting provider may retain technical logs for operation and security.

Your rights and requests

You may ask what personal information is processed about you and request correction, deletion, restriction or portability where the applicable rules provide for these rights. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email your request to info@schoorsteen-verwijderen.nl.

Do not routinely send a copy of your identity document. If additional identity verification is necessary, we will discuss a suitable method. You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
